Questions and Answers
A small book with a long title 'Questions and Answers arising out of the System of Goods, Parcels, and Passenger Account Keeping at G.W.R. Stations' was first published in 1920 in order to supplement classes of instruction and provide a better insight into the work of the accounts section of the Goods and Traffic departments. These hard back books were all about 4¼" x 6¾" in size and initially contained 160 pages, but they grew slowly to reach 190 pages by the 1936 edition. The first edition was noted as being printed by Wiliam Brendon and Son, Ltd. of Plymouth, but the printer was not noted in subsequent ones.
